Μου φαίνεται ότι απλά πρόκειται για εικασία. Πολύ πιθανότερο να πρόκειται για την ελληνική λέξη οικία (και όχι οικεία που προέρχεται βέβαια από το οικείος=γνώριμος). In my humble opinion the origin of the name IKEA seems more probable to come from the Greek word OIKIA which means home. No one seem to be able to cite any reliable sources to backup the alternate scenario, namely the composition of the name from "the name of the farm he grew up" and "the name of the town he lived", which seems an arbitrary guess.
